The Auntie Tobi Verified Member Badge is designed to help users identify businesses that have completed Auntie Tobi’s verification process.

The badge shows that a business has provided information requested by Auntie Tobi and has met our verification requirements at the time of review. It helps improve trust and transparency within the Auntie Tobi Business Directory.

What Verification Means

A verified member may have completed checks such as:

  • Confirmation of business details provided to Auntie Tobi
  • Verification of business contact information
  • Confirmation that the business operates or provides services in the UK
  • Review of available business information and online presence

Verification is intended to confirm the identity and presence of a business within our directory. It does not mean that Auntie Tobi guarantees, recommends, certifies, or endorses the quality of the business, its products, services, pricing, customer experience, or results.

Maintaining Verified Status

Verified members are expected to:

  • Keep their business information accurate and up to date
  • Provide truthful information about their products and services
  • Operate in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Respond appropriately to customer enquiries and feedback

Auntie Tobi reserves the right to review, suspend, or remove verified status if:

  • Information provided is found to be inaccurate or misleading
  • The business no longer meets verification requirements
  • The business violates Auntie Tobi’s policies
  • There are concerns regarding misuse of the directory or customer trust

Customer Responsibility

The Verified Member Badge is provided as an indicator that a business has completed Auntie Tobi’s verification process. Customers should still carry out their own checks and make informed decisions before engaging with any business.

Auntie Tobi is a discovery platform that connects customers with Nigerian-owned businesses in the UK. We do not take part in transactions between customers and businesses and are not responsible for any agreements, purchases, services, disputes, losses, or outcomes resulting from interactions with listed businesses.
